Children's Yoga with Emily LindgrenYouth Enrichment> Ages 3-8 Children's yoga will improve little yogis' balance, core strength, growth of the brain, calmness and happiness. Children's yoga will also strengthen their body through basic and more challenging poses. They will learn mindfulness, breathing exercises, relaxation, and visualization techniques. Drivers Education: 30-hour Classroom InstructionDrivers EducationThirty hours of classroom instruction are required before a student is eligible for behind-the-wheel instruction. Students should be 14 years old in order to take classroom instruction. After completion of the classroom instruction, students may register with Westonka Driving School or another school of their choice for behind the wheel instruction. There is an additional cost for behind the wheel. When students register for behind the wheel, they will receive a blue card, which will enable them to go and take the written permit test at state exam stations. Math By Mail UpgradedGeneral EnrichmentMath By Mail Upgraded > Students entering grades 5-9 (2025-2026 school year) Math-by-Mail is expanding its options to do math! How exciting! We continue to serve upper elementary through 9th grade. Not only are we offering our predetermined set of 8 packets, we will also offer an ala carte menu! Our added approach allows for individual choice regarding the skills and concepts students and parents can request to build math confidence. Still an 8 week course with a self paced approach! Student completed packets should be mailed (USPS) to Math-by-Mail. We will then provide feedback and return corrected packets to students via USPS. As always the goal of Math-by-Mail is to provide rich content to maintain mathematical understanding! Orange Crush Robotics #3026RoboticsGrades 7–12 Join Delano’s award-winning Orange Crush Robotics Team and take part in one of the fastest-growing extracurricular activities in Minnesota! Students in grades 7–12 are invited to join a dynamic team that combines creativity, collaboration, and technology. Whether you’re interested in engineering, building, programming, graphic design, or social media, there’s a place for you on the team. The team meets weekly through the fall, participates in off-season competitions and educational conferences, and prepares for the release of the next challenge. The Competition Season kicks off in January, when the new game is revealed to teams across the country. From that point, members work together to design, build, and program a new robot for the season’s challenges. The competitive season runs January through April, with opportunities to travel and compete at regional events. Team members should be prepared for a more serious time commitment during this exciting, fast-paced part of the year. Summer Math By Mail for ElementaryGeneral EnrichmentSummer Math by Mail for Elementary > Completed grades 2 - 6 in 2025-2026 Ms. Jill Yeager is currently a classroom teacher with over 33 years of experience. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a MA Ed.in Curriculum and instruction. During her career she has taught in grades 3-6 and has also been an instructional coach for teachers teaching kindergarten through 6th grade. She has been offering Summer Math by Mail in nine school districts for over 18 years. It offers practice of previously learned concepts to keep skills sharp and build confidence through "pen-pal" style correspondence. It is not a tutoring program and it is not designed to advance students ahead. Participants will receive a pretest to determine math skills and individualize their program. Then they will receive nine weeks of lessons. After they have completed a week’s worth of work, mail it in, and we’ll make corrections, provide comments, and mail it back! Students work at their own pace. Kids love receiving their returned assignments each week in the mail! This 10-week correspondence program was developed by a veteran teacher. It is a "pen-pal" style correspondence program and offers practice of previously learned concepts to keep skills sharp and build confidence. Students will take a pre-test and fill out a questionnaire to individualize their program. Students will then receive nine weeks of materials. Each week’s packet will include five math lessons with problem-solving activities. The activities will apply to a specific math concept or strand. After the student has completed a packet, they will mail it in. We’ll make corrections, provide feedback and mail it back. Students may start and finish the course at their own pace throughout the strands. When all lessons are completed, students will receive a restaurant meal coupon. Summertime in the ParksDay CampsSummertime in the Parks >For children entering grades 1-6 If you enroll more than one child in the same week, please select the "Additional Child" price for any additional children of the same family. Summertime in the Park is an opportunity for our kids to get outside, enjoy the weather, build friendships and participate in activities. Each day, there will be planned events for the kids to compete with and work together on. Summertime in the Parks is a fun way to burn off energy and get together with friends from school. Please make sure your child has: a labeled water bottle, snack, sunscreen, bug repellent, and hand sanitizer. Breaks will be provided.
