STUDENTS ENTERING GRADES 5–8  ARE INVITED TO AUDITION FOR 

Middle School Play: The Music Man Jr.

If you are cast, you will need to pay a fee ($110) payable to delano Community Ed.

There sure is a lot of trouble in River City when Harold Hill comes to town! Will he continue his ways, or be swayed by the town's music teacher? We're looking forward to a great Broadway Junior production this summer, featuring "The Music Man Jr"! Students entering grades 5-8 in the Fall of 2026 are encouraged to audition! Theater is a vibrant, fun, and fulfilling experience for the performers and audience members alike!

Sign-up for a time through the Sign-up Genius link found in Mrs. Scheevel's Google Classroom when registration opens. 

Auditions held at the Highschool Auditorium

Tuesday, May 26|  6:00- 8:00  PM  

Wednesday, May 27 | 6:00 - 8:00 PM 

**Some actors may receive a second audition Friday, May 29 3:3 | 3:30pm

• No one will be allowed in the auditorium except those auditioning 
• Students should bring a completed audition form to the audition. (Audition forms are available in the DIS office, DHS office, and Ms. Scheevel's google classroom) 
• Visit Ms. Scheevel's google classroom to find links to singing and speaking parts to practice before your audition. 
• If you are cast, you will need to pay a fee ($110) payable to delano Community Ed.

Rehearsals

Rehearsals:Monday-Thursday 1:00-3:00p from July 20-Aug 20 & 6:00-8:00p from August 24-Sept 10:

Participants need to plan to attend the majority of rehearsals. Parts will be recast if participants are not available for most rehearsals.

• Friday, September 11 , at 7:00 PM
• Saturday, September 12, at 7:00 PM
• Sunday, September 13, at  3:00 PM
