Delano Girls' Junior Olympic (JO) VolleyballVolleyball> Girls, grades 4-11 Registration is now open for tryouts and the 2026-27 season. The Delano JO Volleyball program is only open to athletes who attend Delano Schools. Please use the link below to review the 2026-27 JO Volleyball Parent Information Presentation that will inform you of the various aspects of the Delano JO Volleyball program. Please review the information in the presentation; you will be held accountable for the information covered in the slides. 2026-27 JO VB Parent Information Presentation Tryouts: October 19, 26 & November 8 | TAC Courts To be allowed to try out, all participants must be pre-registered by the registration deadlines listed below. Grade 4 (10-Under) - No cuts and no tryout - if multiple teams are needed, the participants will be split evenly after the first practice in early March. Grades 5 & 6 (12-Under) - No cuts pending available coaches. Teams are formed based on skill level from tryout evaluations. Grades 7 & 8 (14-Under) - Cuts are possible. A minimum of 2 teams will be formed based on skill level and positional needs, as determined by tryout evaluations. Fielding additional teams will be dependent on coach availability. 16-Under - Cuts are possible. 1 team will be formed based on skill level and positional needs. 17-Under - Cuts are possible. 1 team will be formed based on skill level and positional needs. TAC Courts 1-4 October 26 - 12U Registration Deadline: 12:00 p.m. on October 26, 2026. Times: Grade 5 - 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Grade 6 - 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm A $25 late fee will be applied to all registrations received after October 16. TAC Courts 1 & 2 When arriving for tryouts, participants will enter through the Main Entrance of the High School building (Door 1). Participants must check in at their grade-level table in the commons and determine their jersey size before going to their assigned court. Parents cannot watch tryouts and must leave the building once their athlete is checked in for their session. Participants will need to bring a water bottle. Junior Spikers VolleyballVolleyballGirls, grades 5 & 6 Junior Spikers Volleyball is your chance to keep improving your knowledge and skills in volleyball. Through drills, stations, and competitions, you will get the opportunity to develop your level of play and have a ton of fun. You will also have the opportunity to attend and cheer on the Delano Girls’ Varsity Volleyball Team as a group on Tuesday, October 13, vs. Zimmerman. Free admission to the game for camp participants. More information will be sent home through camp. Lady Tiger Volleyball: Summer SkillsVolleyballLady Tiger Volleyball: Summer Skills > girls entering grades 1 - 12 Improve your volleyball skills with individual training combined with team concepts to get you in shape for the future. The Summer Skills clinic focuses on all aspects of the game, emphasizing fundamentals. Instruction will be given on individual serving, ball handling, hitting, setting, blocking, and defensive techniques. There will also be a variety of fun games and contests. You will leave the training with an energized enthusiasm for volleyball and improved self-confidence, both of which are keys to your growth as a player. This program is intended to develop future Delano High School volleyball athletes. Participants in grades 9-12 must attend Delano Public Schools or a school within the district boundaries to participate in these camps. Each participant who registers by Monday, June 1, will receive a t-shirt. The Tuesday Night Volleyball program is your chance to scrimmage and play! Each Tuesday night, participants will be formed into teams to play a variety of volleyball games. Participating in the Tuesday Night Volleyball Games program is your opportunity to apply what you learn on Monday and Wednesday mornings in a more competitive setting. Participants must plan to play for Delano High School during the upcoming fall season, and attend the Monday/Wednesday Skills program to participate. Participants must have organized volleyball experience (JOs or HS teams) that includes understanding a 5-1 or 6-2 offense.
