Junior High Club Boys TennisTennis> boys, grades 6 - 8 Join the fun and be part of Delano’s Boys Tennis program! Whether you’re new to the sport or have been playing for a while, this program is a great way to build your skills, make new friends, and enjoy friendly competition. Players will learn proper techniques, improve consistency and strategy, and experience the excitement of match play against other area teams. Tennis is a sport you can enjoy for a lifetime—discover what makes it so rewarding! Coach: Ben Pupp Registration deadline: April 3 Monday - Friday, April 6-May 19(There will also be a 12 dual-match schedule.) Transportation: Player transportation will be shared by parents on road matches. Program Prerequisites: Participants must be able to follow a series of directions, demonstrate hand-eye coordination to hold and throw a tennis ball, be able to keep a rally going, verbally communicate with peers and coaches, run, shuffle side-to-side, hold and swing a tennis racket.2026 Winter-Spring -
Tennis ClinicTennis> Grades 1 - 6 This camp will focus on proper grips, footwork, rallying, and the basic strokes of tennis, including the forehand, backhand, volley, and serve. We will also learn and play many tennis games throughout this process. Participants will need to bring a tennis racquet. The clinic will be held outside, so please dress appropriately and bring sunscreen and a water bottle. Space is limited — register early. Program Note: participants will be grouped by ability after the first session. Coach Brianna Dorr & High School Staff Weather Policy: In the event of inclement weather, the clinic will either move into the Tiger Activity Center if space is available, or it will be held on a makeup date to be announced.
