Athletes will play sets against a variety of opponents. Match locations will rotate between Delano, Buffalo, and possibly other area tennis courts. Swing Into Summer Tennis CampTennisServe up some fun and build your game at this end-of-school-year tennis camp for boys entering grades 3–5! Designed for beginners and players with some experience, this camp focuses on developing fundamental skills, including forehands, backhands, serves, volleys, scoring, and court movement. Players will learn through a combination of engaging drills, skill-building games, and introductory match play in a positive and active environment. By the end of the camp, participants will gain confidence, improve their understanding of the game, and be excited to continue playing tennis. Tennis ClinicTennis> Grades 1 - 6 This camp will focus on proper grips, footwork, rallying, and the basic strokes of tennis, including the forehand, backhand, volley, and serve. We will also learn and play many tennis games throughout this process. Participants will need to bring a tennis racquet. The clinic will be held outside, so please dress appropriately and bring sunscreen and a water bottle. Space is limited — register early. Program Note: participants will be grouped by ability after the first session.
