All 7-12 athletes are invited to attend these weekly practices at Tiger Stadium with the varsity Cross Country and Track & Field coaching staff. On Tuesdays, athletes will be in groups for sprinting, hurdling, distance running, or throwing. Thursday sessions will be distance running only. No experience is necessary. All athletes interested in Cross Country or Track & Field are welcome to attend! Tuesdays: Meet on the Track Thursdays: Meet by the Concessions Stand at Tiger Stadium Varsity Cross Country/Track & Field Coaches Tuesdays | June 9, 16, 23, 30, July 14, 21 (T & F Events & Distance Running) Thursdays | June 11, 18, 25, July 2, 16, 23 (Distance Running Only) 7:00-8:30p Tiger Stadium Track: TF and CC athletes Program Prerequisites: Participants must be able to run, jump, shuffle, and skip unassisted, follow a series of directions, verbally communicate with peers and coaches, and work as a team with their peers. Participants must also have a basic understanding of track and field and cross-country sports.
