Join in for some nature-based FREE PLAY! This simple but powerful childhood activity looks like "just plain fun" but is much more. After a busy school day, let your child wind down in nature! Kids make their own fun without adult intervention (unless needed) and gain the important skills of focus, compromise, leadership, and empathy. At Let Grow Play Club, your child will get the resilience-building outdoor play time they need with a multi-age group. For grades K-3. PARENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED. Please email Emily Hilbelink at emily.hilbelink@delanoschools.org 5 Mondays: September 14-October 12 2:50-3:50pm | $25 Location: Fields and woods near Delano Elementary School (weather pending) Child pick up at Delano Elementary School Participation requirements: Students must agree and be able to abide by THREE Play Club Rules in order to participate: 1) I will not deliberately hit or physically hurt another child. 2) I will not leave the designated Play Club area without adult permission. 3) I agree to listen to the adults (who will only get involved when they need to, but then it's my job to listen). Students must be able to follow these three rules in order to participate in Play Club. Parents: The goal of Play Club is to provide children with the opportunity to create, socialize, explore, and solve problems without adult involvement. Parents understand that though most children experience only joy at Play Club, not all kids will be happy 100% of the time (as they work through challenges together). Parents understand that adults will not intervene on children's disagreements unless absolutely necessary. If a child deliberately hurts someone, they will need to take a break. Parents understand that this is a chance for children to become more resilient, resourcement, mature, and creative.

**This parent discussion time is for parents, adults, caregivers of children of all ages!**Come enjoy some coffee, quiet, and connection at Coffee Connection. The goal of these classes is to provide parents of babies, toddlers and young children an opportunity to connect with other parents and a Parent & Family Educator with the goal of building happy homes and families. Activities include topic-based discussion, literature overview, games, and parent education. While parents relax in discussion and coffee-sipping, children play with staff in a nearby classroom! Sibling care is available for children not yet in Kindergarten, sign-up during registration! Come join other parents and become part of a community of support through the early stages of your baby’s infancy. This class will provide caregiver(s) with opportunities for topic-based conversations about relationships, feeding, sleeping, and other life adjustments. The class will provide your baby with an opportunity for parent-baby bonding, sensory experiences, language and literacy, and movement in a quiet, peaceful environment where your baby is also welcome to sleep! Baby classes often form lifelong friendships for both babies and their caregivers!
