> Grades 1 - 6 This camp will focus on proper grips, footwork, rallying, and the basic strokes of tennis, including the forehand, backhand, volley, and serve. We will also learn and play many tennis games throughout this process. Participants will need to bring a tennis racquet. The clinic will be held outside, so please dress appropriately and bring sunscreen and a water bottle. Space is limited — register early. Program Note: participants will be grouped by ability after the first session. Coach Brianna Dorr & High School Staff Weather Policy: In the event of inclement weather, the clinic will either move into the Tiger Activity Center if space is available, or it will be held on a makeup date to be announced. Program Prerequisites: Participants must be able to follow a series of directions, demonstrate hand-eye coordination to hold and throw a tennis ball, verbally communicate with peers and coaches, run, shuffle side-to-side, hold and swing a tennis racket.
