Baby & Me (non-separating)
ECFE Classes

Birth to 12 monthsSibling care is available for children under 2, sign-up during registration! Non-separating. Parent of a new baby? Come join other parents and become part of a community of support through the early stages of your baby’s infancy. This class will provide caregiver(s) with opportunities for topic-based conversations about relationships, feeding, sleeping, and other life adjustments. The class will provide your baby with an opportunity for parent-baby bonding, sensory experiences, language and literacy, and movement in a quiet, peaceful environment where your baby is also welcome to sleep! Baby classes often form lifelong friendships for both babies and their caregivers!

ECFE Nature Class (Parent and Child)
ECFE Classes

Ages 30 months to Kindergarten The natural world is a giant, open-ended learning laboratory. Children are innate scientists and nature provides countless opportunities for discovery, creativity, problem-solving, and STEM education. Come join this class with your child and learn about a variety of planned interactive outdoor activities. Classes are held at Lake Rebecca, so come dressed for the weather! (“There’s no bad weather, just bad clothing!”) Sibling care is not available however a sibling under 30 months of age is able to attend if you feel you are still able to participate with your preschooler. Siblings older than 30 months would need to register for the class if attending.

FREE! Coffee Connection
ECFE Classes

**This parent discussion time is for parents, adults, caregivers of children of all ages!**Come enjoy some coffee, quiet, and connection at Coffee Connection. The goal of these classes is to provide parents of babies, toddlers and young children an opportunity to connect with other parents and a Parent & Family Educator with the goal of building happy homes and families. Activities include topic-based discussion, literature overview, games, and parent education. While parents relax in discussion and coffee-sipping, children play with staff in a nearby classroom! Sponsored by Delano ECFE/School Readiness, Wright County Human Services, and a Delano-Loretto United Way grant. Sibling care is available for children not yet in Kindergarten, sign-up during registration! Babies ages birth to 12 months are welcome to stay in the parent room with mom/dad/caregiver for parent discussion. Music & Messy Art
ECFE Classes

Ages 12 months to Kindergarten Nonseparating with short parent connection. Children and their caregivers will have the opportunity to explore music and movement, messy projects, and sensory activities. We will use things like music sticks, scarves, bells, parachutes, shaving cream, spray bottles, water, paint and much more! Class includes play exploration time, structured circle time, large motor time and opportunities to connect with the Parent & Family Educator. NEW! Family Art & Stories
ECFE Classes

Wind down and spark imagination with an evening of art, stories, and fun! This joyful, hands-on session is a playful way to build early literacy, creativity, and connection—all while having a great time. Each session will focus on three art projects and one or two stories. Come cozy, but able to get messy. Grown-ups encouraged to participate! For families with children ages birth-7. Practice Preschool (child only)
ECFE Classes

Child only (must be fully potty trained). Practice Preschool is a place where young children begin their learning journey in a brief, inviting preschool environment. Children will grow in their social and emotional skills by practicing turn-taking, standing in line, sitting in circle time, and enjoying free play with new friends. In this class, preschoolers begin to understand what it means to be part of a group - listening, sharing, and cooperating with others. Each class is filled with activities that support early development including art, science, math and literacy. Of course, there’s time for snacks and music along the way! Terrific Twos & Threes (separating)
ECFE Classes

Ages 24-47 months Separating. In this class, parents and their two and three-year-old children will enjoy parent/child playtime, learning activities, teacher-led circle time for the children and parents, and a separate parent discussion time. While the parents meet in a separate room, the children continue with a snack, large muscle play, dramatic play, music, art, stories, sensory play, and friendship-building! Snack time is offered with parents volunteering to bring in store-bought snacks each week. Wiggle & Play
ECFE Classes

For ages 12 months - Kindergarten (parents stay with their children) Non-separating w/ short parent discussion time. Join us for a fun-filled ECFE class where you and your child enjoy the joy of movement! Both gross motor and fine motor activities are essential for a growing child’s development. In this class, your little one(s) will have the opportunity to jump, run, climb, and slide alongside friends. Parents will have the opportunity to connect with the Parent and Family Educator for a brief discussion on motor development, movement, and play while the children enjoy some supervised play or participate in some exercises! Registration deadline: Registration must be received by the Monday prior to each class. $5 per child/ per class

Wonderful Ones & Twos
ECFE Classes

Ages 11-30 months Sibling care is available, sign-up during registration! Non-separating and gradually separating options. With a focus on connection and building comfort in new spaces, this class includes parent/child tabletop games and manipulatives, sensory experiences, circle time and creative play. In this class, parents and their child(ren) will interact through play experiences designed to meet the growing needs of the curious one and two-year-old. A snack time is offered with parents volunteering to bring store-bought snacks each week. Come learn, engage, and explore in this non-separating OR gradually separating class. 8 Mondays, September 14th - November 2nd 8:45-9:30 AM - (Non-separating class) 9:45-11:00 AM - (Gradually Separating Class)
