Beginner Wrestling & Agility
> Grades K - 8
The Beginner Wrestling & Agility course is designed for youth interested in learning about wrestling. The Beginner Wrestling & Agility program will teach the basic knowledge and fundamentals of wrestling. Statistically, wrestling is one of the safest sports for kids. Our program offers a great, low-key opportunity to discover what makes this sport so special, and how it builds strength, coordination, agility, confidence, discipline, and much more! Wrestling is a great foundational building block for other sports because of the physical and mental tools it provides. We encourage parents to stay throughout the practices to learn more about wrestling!
The Beginner Wrestling & Agility program is intended to be fun, first and foremost. Each class will consist of warm-ups, techniques, light drilling, and games. Check out what Wrestling in Delano has to offer!
Beginner Wrestling & Agility is for beginners. Athletes with no experience are encouraged to try it out. This course is designed for athletes with one year or less of wrestling experience. Athletes are welcome to attend one or both sessions.
