Little Leaders for Sideline Cheerleading

> Grades 1-6

The Delano Cheerleader squad will be hosting a cheerleading camp for students in grades 1-6. The week will consist of learning cheers, jumps, and stunts* to perform during the 2nd quarter of the Varsity football game against Providence. The stunts' difficulty will align with the little leaders' abilities. 

*The coaches will provide participants with opportunities to perform basic jumps and stunts at their discretion for optimal safety. Participants' inability to jump or stunt will not negatively impact their experience.*

Practice Dates: September 15-17  from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. in the DES Cafeteria

Game Date: September 18 - 2nd quarter of the Varsity Football Game against the Zimmerman Thunder at Tiger Stadium (T2)

The price includes admission to the Varsity Football Game on September 18 and a camp T-shirt. Sign up by August 20 to receive a t-shirt.

(Parents wanting to watch the Little Leaders' performance will need to pay admission for the game.)

Program Prerequisites: Participants must be able to clap, memorize cheers, follow two- to three-step directions, verbally communicate with peers and coaches, and work effectively as a team with their peers.
