Delano Girls' Junior Olympic (JO) Volleyball

Registration is now open for tryouts and the 2026-27 season. The Delano JO Volleyball program is only open to athletes who attend Delano Schools. Please use the link below to review the 2026-27 JO Volleyball Parent Information Presentation that will inform you of the various aspects of the Delano JO Volleyball program. Please review the information in the presentation; you will be held accountable for the information covered in the slides.

Tryouts:

October 19, 26 & November 8 | TAC Courts

To be allowed to try out, all participants must be pre-registered by the registration deadlines listed below.
Grade 4 (10-Under) - No cuts and no tryout - if multiple teams are needed, the participants will be split evenly after the first practice in early March.
Grades 5 & 6 (12-Under) - No cuts pending available coaches. Teams are formed based on skill level from tryout evaluations.
Grades 7 & 8 (14-Under) - Cuts are possible. A minimum of 2 teams will be formed based on skill level and positional needs, as determined by tryout evaluations. Fielding additional teams will be dependent on coach availability.
16-Under - Cuts are possible. 1 team will be formed based on skill level and positional needs.
17-Under - Cuts are possible. 1 team will be formed based on skill level and positional needs.

If you cannot attend your scheduled tryout session, please contact Delano JO Volleyball at DelanoJOVB@gmail.com prior to your tryout date. NO MAKE-UP SESSIONS WILL BE OFFERED THIS COMING SEASON.

October 19 - 14U

Registration Deadline: 12:00 p.m. on October 19, 2026.

Grade 7 - 6:00 pm - 7:45 pm
Grade 8 - 6:00 pm - 7:45 pm

A $25 late fee will be applied to all registrations received after October 9.
TAC Courts 1-4

October 26 - 12U

Registration Deadline: 12:00 p.m. on October 26, 2026.

Times:

Grade 5 - 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Grade 6 - 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

A $25 late fee will be applied to all registrations received after October 16.
TAC Courts 1-4

November 8 - 16U/17U

Registration Deadline: 12:00 p.m. on November 6, 2026

Times:

Grades 9-11 - 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

A $25 late fee will be applied to all registrations received after October 30.

TAC Courts 1 & 2

When arriving for tryouts, participants will enter through the Main Entrance of the High School building (Door 1). Participants must check in at their grade-level table in the commons and determine their jersey size before going to their assigned court. Parents cannot watch tryouts and must leave the building once their athlete is checked in for their session. Participants will need to bring a water bottle.

17-Under (11th-Grade): $595/$620 (Late Fee After 10/30/26) | 6623-17U

11-12 weeks; 6 tournaments

16-Under (9th/10th-Grade): $595/$620 (Late Fee After 10/30/26) | 6623-16U

11-12 weeks; 6 tournaments

14-Under (7th/8th-Grade): $516/$541 (Late Fee After 10/9/26) | 6623-14U

8-9 weeks; 5 tournaments

12-Under (5th/6th-Grade): $516/$541 (Late Fee After 10/16/26) | 6623-12U

8-9 weeks; 5 tournaments

10-Under (4th-Grade): $290/$315 (Late Fee After 10/16/26) | 6623-10U

6-7 weeks; 2-3 tournaments/playdates

Fees include tournament & league fees, coaches, jerseys, staff, and equipment. No refunds after tryouts have been held (unless there is a medical situation or you do not make a travel team).

Program Prerequisites: Participants must be able to run, follow a series of directions, demonstrate hand-eye coordination to hit a ball, jump, communicate verbally with peers and coaches, and work as part of a team.
