Gale Woods Farm Camp in Action

Farm Camp in Action

> entering grades 4 - 6

Work alongside the Gale Woods farmers to learn about caring for livestock and tending the garden. Explore the natural farm setting while helping with daily chores, making fresh farm snacks and a variety of hands-on activities. The Farm Camp in Action group is led by a Gale Woods Farm Educator and chaperoned by a Community Education staff member. Please bring a bag lunch, water bottle, sunscreen, and bug spray each day.

Community Education is looking for three chaperones to supervise our groups at Gale Woods during this camp. The chaperones will be paid for their time during the camp. We need one adult and two high school students (10th-grade or older). If you are interested in chaperoning this trip, please contact Chris Runke at 612-224-5958 (call or text). Thank you in advance for your help!
